Support

Your first point of contact

If something doesn't feel right, contact us first. You won't be passed around.

  1. 1

    Tell us

Message your VidaMed clinician, big worry or small.

  2. 2

    We assess

A UK clinician reviews you, in person or by video.

  3. 3

    We coordinate

An earlier review, a scan, a specialist or a call with your surgeon.

  4. 4

    We stay with you

We keep your surgeon informed until you're back on track.

You do not need to wait for a scheduled review to ask for help.

Why it matters

Your recovery, with a UK team behind it

Your surgeon looks after the operation. We look after the weeks that follow at home.

We check your healing, answer your questions and keep your surgeon updated.

Reviews are led by UK-registered doctors and nurses. We arrange scans and bloods when you need them.

Questions

Common questions

Can I book Aftercare if I have already arranged surgery?

Yes. Contact us before you travel so your first review is booked.

Does Aftercare replace my overseas clinic's follow-up?

No. It works alongside it, and we keep your clinic updated.

Can reviews be done remotely?

Some can, where clinically appropriate. Wound checks and imaging usually need an in-person visit.

How soon after landing is my first review?

Usually within a few days. We book it before you fly.

Can you check stitches, dressings or drains?

Yes, at your reviews, following your surgeon's instructions.

Will you speak to my surgeon?

Yes, doctor to doctor, whenever your recovery needs it.

Is everything included in my aftercare?

Your standard aftercare reviews are included. Additional support such as physiotherapy, scans or a specialist opinion is offered at an extra cost. We confirm the cost before anything is booked.

Plan your recovery before you travel

Tell us your dates and we'll book your first review for when you land.
